Think
about the images on the previous page, The
Guest Room. On the side of the room to the
left of the camera position is a little alcove, and in
that alcove is a lovely table & some interesting
chairs. In the slanted wall above that alcove is a
skylight. Natalia stroll over to that table for
some more images, using the natural light in the room
(mostly from the skylight).
That
door behind Natalia leads to the stairs down to the main
level of the house.
I
break out the point & shoot camera. Space in
this alcove is very tight, and the point & shoot
camera not only has a wider angle lens, it also has a
live preview pivoting & tilting LCD screen.
Right
away -- I like these images. I especially like the
glowing tonality. And the wide angle distortion is
fun. |
| I'm
struck by the wide variety of ambience we achieved in
this collection of images. I don't know if I'm
expressing myself well, but Natalia moves easily from
sensual to comfortable to intimate to happy to
etc. |

On
occasion, visitors ask what I look like. Well,
this is what my left hand looks like.
To be
honest, I think this might be the first time I actually
touched a model, and I felt uncomfortable doing
it. Natalia was comfortable, but I like to
maintain personal space, especially when we are talking
about a nude model. So, we don't make many
exposures holding hands.
By
the way, Natalia's hands were quite warm.

| I
like the informal feel of these images, but after this,
we go back downstairs. |
