A lot of photographers
move around a lot during a sitting. I've seen some
who were practically frenetic. I used to be like that,
but not so much now:
-
I'm getting to that age when it's a challenge to get
up from being down on the floor, and
-
I've got around to the idea where I pre-conceive the
image and work on getting the image I see in my mind
-- I don't usually envision multiple angles.
Still,
I do take a look around before moving on from a specific
setup. Also, I do have this gizmo that connects to
my camera's viewfinder and projects that image onto a LCD
screen at the end of long wire -- there's even a shutter
release button on the LCD screen. With this gizmo,
I don't have to put my head behind the viewfinder, and I
can pretty much position the camera from any angle.
But it can be difficult to hold the camera & the LCD
screen at the same time. And the gizmo is pretty fragile.
I want my next camera to have a better solution for this
problem -- how to put a live preview (with camera controls)
on a remote device.
