Ashton, In The Shower

As I mentioned earlier, I had an extra long time to anticipate Ashton's arrival, since her road trip to Los Angeles lasted several weeks. I like to plan several setups for a model, but then again, I also like to go with the spontaneous inspiration. For example, the previous page ("Don't Touch Me; Touch Me") was totally spur of the moment. But ever since Brooke's second visit, when she posed in my shower, I wanted to return to the shower with another model. Since Ashton brought along a photographic assistant for me, I wanted to return. This assistant is needed because the model & I enter the shower, then the lights have to be positioned behind us.
By the time we finished the "Don't Touch Me; Touch Me", there was only 20 minutes left on our scheduled sitting, and I knew by this time, that the two of them had a long drive ahead of them. I was torn -- should we move all the lighting & ourselves into the shower, or should we continue to work out in the living room studio? In the end, we decide, obviously, to bundle into the shower.

Now I have to admit before you get too excited, that I wanted to get Ashton wet & then oiled, but I took pity on her (and the long drive ahead of her) -- she kept dry for this setup.

Here's a funny thing -- the colorized toning of these images is not far from the original color values. The stone tiles of the shower & Ashton's skin are both tanned. Take a look:

Unless I have a specific intent to create adult/erotic images, I don't make what I call "gynecological" photographs. I don't think Ashton would mind -- she is some comfortable & natural, but this is about as close as I'll get. I do like the low level perspective, though.

As I said previously, I don't mind returning to previous concepts if I can find new variations to explore. The new stuff here: I've experimented with different perspectives, with different lighting (a smaller light box), with different compositions, and of course, with a different model, one whose skin tones match the shower tiles.
Isn't Ashton amazing? Here we are, nearly three hours into the sitting, and she's still going strong. She's had no breaks (I offered, she declined), and she's flipped her hair until she got dizzy, she's rubbed her boyfriend's hand all over her body, she's jumped into the shower (and those tiles weren't exactly warm), and she still looks dazzling.

Ashton looked sexy every moment she was here.

Assessment: Ashton is terrific! She is confident, down-to-earth, willing to please, sexy, energetic, and stunning. We had great fun. Frankly, I was going through a little discouraging streak, and she turned me around. Thanks, Ashton!
