When I first
started photographing the nude, there were many skilled,
talented, and much more experienced people willing to help
me out. These generous people (models, photographers,
and teachers) encouraged me, and I owe them a karmic debt.
I can't pay them back directly, but I make peace with the
universe by occasionally working with a beginner model.

S. is one such beginner. Through this web site, she
sent me an e-mail asking if I would photograph her.
She had never posed nude before, and although she was initially
nervous, her smiling, happy, laughing personality quickly
won through.
