With
the black background in place,
we continue with the
"less is more"
poses.

I
have this beautiful scarf -- it's
a rich, deep, dark red velvet-like
material. I ask Kira to play
with it. That's a sure sign
of me not having a clear idea of
what I want done -- the concept
was vague & unfinished.
I've
never been able to photograph this
scarf very well. It has a
special sheen when the light
catches it just so, but I've never
been able to get a good image of
it. I'll have to think on
that some more. |

You
get a little sense of the color & the
sheen of the scarf from this color
photograph. Like I said on the last
page, the Nikon camera doesn't record color as
well as the Canon did. |
|
We
drag over the living room couch & pose
Kira on it. I've got to admit that I
have mixed feelings about the couch: it
is interesting, because it is slightly
curved. That means that people sitting
on either end of the couch can talk to each
other without straining their necks. But
it isn't all that comfortable for lying down
on. Kira manages, because she's of
modest height, but for a taller person like
myself, it isn't all that comfortable.
Still, we manage to make some nice
images. |
|
Okay,
I admit that some of these
photographs (especially this
one) are "nice", but
"nice" isn't
"significant".
I'm not overly upset about
that -- I'm rusty, and it's
always a pleasure to be around
Kira.

We
are
done. Kira gets dressed, but we expose a
few more pictures. So, how come Kira is
sexier clothed than nude? |
