I pretty much know that
I will never photograph another tattoo again. I won't bore
you with why (if you want to know, click here for my
"Tattoo Rant").
But Justine doesn't have
any tattoos, but she is pierced. Frankly, piercings, even
earrings, give me the heebie jeebies, but somehow they bother me
considerably less than tattoos. And that's part of the
appeal of photography for me: it tends to reveal to me
some of my prejudges and allows me to explore them. So, in
order to examine my feelings about piercing, I move in close
& celebrate Justine's.

Okay, I would definitely prefer
a model who is totally natural, with no enhancements,
piercings, or tattoos. But I think I can be
flexible. Justine has a slim, healthy, athletic
body with smooth, clear skin, and she's tons of fun to
be around. I find that I don't mind her body
jewelry that much. In fact, it reminds me of
Justine's wild side, which is something that, frankly,
I've found appealing.
