With
a husky whisper, Betcee admits to an
interest in some mild fetish
photography, especially my kind which
features erotic submission without any
of the stereotypical negatives (pain,
humiliation, degradation, etc.).
That's all the encouragement I need.

|
The
sitting pauses for a wardrobe
change. Betcee takes a
little time to figure out how to
get into this leather harness
(making the appropriate
adjustments to cinch it up in the
appropriate spots).
Fortunately, I didn't have to help
-- Betcee is full of girl cooties
(i.e. I don't like touching my
models during a sitting).
Betcee also puts on a bit more
make-up -- she did a masterful job
with that.

Although
the leather harness fits well
& looks good, it isn't
inspiring me at the
moment. So, despite the
time investment in getting
into the thing, we abandon it
in favor of some more nudity
(always a good choice,
huh?). We utilize some
leather cuffs & a
padlock. Yummy.

|
|
| We
add this high leather collar
& a leather leash. The
collar is a favorite of mine --
it's a bold statement, it
encourages good posture, and it
photographs well when lit
well. The leash is a
challenge -- remember, I want a
tonal separation between a
subject & the background, so
I'm particularly careful to
capture a little of the leather
sheen off of the leash. I
also like the asymmetrical
composition. And, oh yes,
Betcee looks lovely -- this is
good light for her wonderful
face. |
|
|
| I
almost don't like this picture
-- as I've stated earlier, I
don't like "model staring
off into the distance"
images, but here, we can assume
the Betcee is looking that the
person holding the leash.
Same with the image directly
below. |
|
This
almost works like I hoped.
I'm using the digital camera,
setting it at a fairly wide
angle setting, and I'm holding
the leash near the camera lens,
but not quite close
enough. However, I like
the pose & Betcee's
submissive expression.
Like I said, it almost works.

|
|
We
keep trying. I like the
one above better than this one
-- here the leather leash is
bigger, but Betcee's face is
in shadow.
|
|
|
| Fun
with a wide angle setting.
I like how the curve of the
padlock becomes a frown on
Betcee's face.
But
when you resort to gimmicks,
perhaps it's time to move
on. |
|
| We
had fun & created some interesting
images with these fetish
products. However, Betcee is one
of those models who has become a
friend, and our relationship doesn't
include this kind of situation.
It didn't feel exactly uncomfortable
-- in fact, we were quite comfortable
making these pictures, but somehow we
were playing at fetish photography; it
didn't quite feel "real" to
me. So, we move on.
Time
for one last setup, and I decide to
play with some props.
This
sitting continues with Clothed
In Clouds
