My home theater is separated from the dining room by an archway that is covered by a thick velvet curtain, and we used this as a backdrop.  These photographs were the only during this sitting where I used my old studio lights -- there just wasn't enough light hitting this archway at this time of day, and I wanted the light to come from the side a bit.  Also, it's nice to try something for each sitting, and during this set up, we played with some first aid gauze.

Assessment:  Although I like some of this images (especially this last one), these are my least favorite pictures of this sitting.  I just don't like the dark areas along the left side of these images, the side opposite of the softbox.  I should have put a rim light or hair light in the media room to provide a highlight detail along Angela's right side.  Bottom line:  I just feel that I hurried these pictures a bit, and perhaps I was expecting something specific.  A lot of great photography is setting up a situation and then recording what the situation provides you.  These images were a little forced, and I think I knew it -- we didn't work in front of the media room curtain for very long.

But this last image is pretty nice.  I also like the gauze -- I like the way it not quite hides what it covers.  And it was during these pictures that I mentioned that I like the definition around Angela's rib cage -- that seemed to surprise her.
