Amber & I find lots of other spots in the house to make images, and here are my favorites.  The house is getting more & more comfortable for me -- it is more furnished, and I'm developing a bit of history living there.  We still have a ways to go before I achieve the "environmental portrait" qualities I'm seeking, but we are getting there.

The Dining Room:  Just before Amber's visit, I get my new dining room table delivered.  So, that became a natural choice for some pictures:

The Living Room:  This big chair & a half wasn't here when Lydia visited.  It's in the corner of the living room by the three large windows & it is comfy & cozy.  It typically gets nice afternoon light, but on this day, it was somewhat overcast, so we helped out with a softbox.  These are the best  "environmental portraits" of this sitting.  A couple of observations -- I think this might be the first time I've photographed the bottom of a model's feet, and I've still got to get around to setting up the display case that is beside the bookcase in the background.  On the second picture -- see the little Rodin sculpture reproduction?

Bonus Picture:  I get a lot of comments from people who actually read this text here.  So, if you are reading this, you should know about this picture.  It was made up in my office -- there's a little blank wall which is painted dark green, and I have a spotlight there that is going to be trained on a future art piece (whenever I get around to finding one).  We had Amber in that spot light, and although I used to like extreme shadowy pictures, I guess I'm outgrowing it.  Amber has a wonderful figure, but you can see that this light is not overly flattering.  In addition, I think this picture is a bit cliché.  So, for you aspiring photographers out there -- think about it!
